SOLVED, thanks. Menu and Latest Pages Questions

I've taken the plunge and am shifting a 500 page site over to CMS Made Simple. The old site has ten years of posts, all done by and and then FP2000, 2003 and Expression Web. There are two issues I wonder if I can automate a bit.

1.  Latest Pages.  We always had a page that we added links to the latest posts on.  There are mutliple sections in the old site.  Is there a plugin, module etc that would just list the last x number of new pages or even modified pages?

2. Because of the nature of the site, our hand crafted menus would often point to the same page from different locations. How can I add a page in CMS Made Simple so that it will show up as a menu item in several places, but all of these point to the one same page?  I am guessing that instead of choosing Content on the Add New Content page I should choose Link?  Does this work with an internal link, if I post that in?  If the actual page is shifted later, would the other menu links update?

Recently Updated (in CMSMS)
Recently Added Pages
Last Modified Pages
....
