Image Rotator - Invalid XHTML
Image Rotator - Invalid XHTML
Using the image_rotator plugin will invalidate XHTML because it gives all of the rotating images the same ID.

In attach there is a testing version 1.7hexdj wrote: Using the image_rotator plugin will invalidate XHTML because it gives all of the rotating images the same ID.
Alby: There you go
![]()
- Add images_only param (overwrite search image files and use this images only in same order). It's comma separated of filename image. Example: images_only="1.jpg,2.jpg,3.jpg"
- Add background (rotator=new only) param with a rotator_placeholder div. It's RGB hex code. Example: #ff0000
- Bugfix for avoid XHTML validation (rotator=new only)
Please test this tag. Rename file to .zip
EDIT: there is a 1.7b that with insensitive case

Re: Image Rotator - Invalid XHTML
Thanks Alby, now it Validates
A couple of notes
1. Alt Doesn't seem to work, no matter what I write it always says Image Rotator, but Title does work
2. I couldn't tell if Background was working, no matter what color I used it looked the same in the transition.
Thanks for the update!

Re: Image Rotator - Invalid XHTML
Thanks for the new 1.7 file, Alby!
Everything is working fine now and XHTML valid again
But a small question, why isn't this 1.7 version available in the Forge?
The latest version there is still 1.6...

Re: Image Rotator - Invalid XHTML
Just wanted to thank Alby for posting this......just installed and works nicely, displaying all images within a folder.
Had trouble with it at first but then spotted TinyMCE (WYSIWYG editor) had put ... tags around my smarty tag, which seemed to be causing the problems - removed that and it all works great.
I would second Rolf's question as to why this is not in the forge for others to see.
Thanks again Alby! ;D

Re: Image Rotator - Invalid XHTML
Great work.
Just one problem, been away on vacation for a couple of months and seem to have forgot a couple of things.
I simple just get error when trying to add the code into a tag?
Anything I should remove?
Cheers
EDIT
Nevermind, to early. Forgot this was a plugin. Hehe.
