As you can see from the attached screen capture, there are two #1 items in the list, both are supposed to have children, only the second occurance actually does. I'm not sure how this started, but I need to get it repaired somehow, and it would be really nice to figure out how to prevent it.
Does anybody have any ideas?

Hmmm...
I really need to figure out why it's doing that. I've messed with this a lot and never had it break, but I guess I could've missed a weird corner case.
