I have installed CMSMS as per instructions and now have a folder on my webhost such as home/www/cmsmadesimple-1.2.3. I have read in the forums about sites having to point to www.mydomain.com/cmsmadesimple (installation folder) and wanting simply www.mydomain.com. Rather than copy all the folders and modify the config files I simply created a symbolic link at home/www/index.php and pointing it to /home/www/cmsmadesimple-1.2.3/index.php. It seem to work. What I would like to do is rename the install folder from cmsmadesimple-1.2.3 to cms? I know ... should've down this during the install, duhhh! Other than a straight rename and a new symbolic link file pointing to the correct location, is there anything to edit in other files, mySQL, etc....?

Renaming Default CMSMadeSimple Folder
Re: Renaming Default CMSMadeSimple Folder
Hello,
when you move the site, you change a path, or rename a folder,
an easy way of updating the changes is to rerun the installation wizzard without creating the database objects to keep your content. But of course backpup before.
