i've got a contact form and have a in the form and it totally messes up. cmsms takes all the code after the tag and puts it in the text box?? weird?? any ideas??

It's a WYSIWYG problem, not a CMSMS problem.  Turn off your WYSIWYG in User Prefs and try the same thing.
