SOLVED: Install without default 'help' pages?

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

SOLVED: Install without default 'help' pages?

Post by tdlwebs »

Hi all,

I would like to install CMSMS without all of the help pages that appear by default on a new install (You know the stuff that explains how it works and how to edit the pages etc). It appears that these are part of the "extra.sql" file in the install folder.

My question is: Can I simply delete "extra.sql" before uploading or will the file need still need to be included (albeit in an edited form)?

I hope this is not too confusing.

Solved it now. Yes, it works fine by deleting the "extra.sql" file.

Hello,

you don't need to delete extra.sql : just don't check the box "install sample content" of the install wizzard.

Doh! I never noticed that. Thanks for pointing it out.
