[SOLVED] How do I fix the menu and pagewrapper in size

Post by gletofire »

I want to do this, cause I think that will solve the problem of not proper display of the site in a smaller window (800x600).

Here is the site
http://www.ajbmusic.nl/adb

And here is my crappy code :-\

template:

Code: Select all

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

Re: How do I fix the menu and pagewrapper in size

Post by RonnyK »

The widht is to be put in two places,

in the template:

Code: Select all

#pagewrapper {width:expression(P7_MinMaxW(720,950));}
and in the stylesheet:

Code: Select all

/* center wrapper, min max width */
div#pagewrapper {
   border: 1px solid black;
   margin: 0 auto;       /* this centers wrapper */
   max-width: 80em;   /* IE wont understand these, so we will use javascript magick */
   min-width: 60em;

   color: #000;
   background: url(images/bodybackground.jpg)
}

You can change both the MINMAXes in 600-800.
