[solved] Error when upgrading from 1.0 to 1.2.2

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[solved] Error when upgrading from 1.0 to 1.2.2

Post by GDS »

I tried to upgrade av production site from CMSMS ver 1.0 to 1.2.2
Before installing files, I set the site down for maintanance parameter in Admin.
I then unzipped all files and installed them over existing ones.

I did then the mistake to try to turn off the site down message before running the upgrade process.
I then got the error message :

"Attempt to use ADODB from outside of CMS".

This is also what I see when I goes to install/upgrade.php.

Can anyone help me out of this?

GDS

. . .

Solved (uploaded ver 1.2.3 and installed on top of the unfinished installation)

@Samalah
it's always best to have the latest version, 1.2.3 has actually a vulnerability fix that I don't know whether it existed back in 1.06 or just 1.2.2 but again, it's best to be up to date. Always do a backup of your server files as well as your database in case something goes wrong so you can always go back and not lose your data.
