Albums: how to sort images automatically?

Is there a way to change the sort order of images in the album from oldest > newest to newest > oldest?  It seems that if it knows to sort one way, it should be easy to make it sort the other. 

I know there are ways to sort albums, but I'm interested in sorting images in the album.  Thanks!
