Menu Help

Post by RSprinkel »

Hello all,

New here to the CMSMS World and am seeking some help.

I am currently setting one of my sites up with the CMSMS and pretty much know how to create all the content, however what I am stuck on is how can I create a menu item for a horizontal menu that links to a page that is not created in the Content/Pages section?  In other words, the site I am working on is for a hosting business, and I have a full client billing software and I need to integrate that into the site theme/template I am using and I would like to have links that point to specific areas of the billing software.

Thanks much in advance, very much appreciated.

lollipop27 - thanks for the prompt reply.

Ok I have done that, now my question is, I tried that using all 4 target locations.  I would like to be able to pull those pages in under my template that I am using.  Not to bring up another cms type, but with Mambo you can use a wrapper to where it will pull any outside page into the template that you are using.  How can this be done?

Thanks again,

there has been some dicussions here with integrating offside pages as bogs etc ....

havent done that, but search for 'iframe' 'include' or similar, ..... this should help....

Are they just content without much site around? then i'd try a user defined tag with the php function include... but thats just an idea...

Thanks again for the prompt reply.

I will try some things and see what happens.  Well there is other content in the pages with site stuff, but I can remove any part of it I want through the files.

I will see what I can come up with and again very much appreciated for the help.
