Andreas08 Template conversion to CMSSMS

Greetings,

I would like to convert Andreas08 (originally made by Andreas Viklund; converted to 1024 format by Jason Cole)

I went through the great video tutorial here: http://jason-cole.com/files/andreas08-wide/

and it seems that the tutorial doesn't cover handling of the menu. It just shows inclusion of the module menu_manager. I think that there are also more CMSMS tags that need to be added for content since the mint chocolate (YUM) template is a lot simpler than Andreas08.  Also, the template comes with ONE CSS file; does this need to be broken out by function for CMSMS to work with it, ie., Nav, content, etc? Andreas08 is not an xml based template, it is CSS and html based.

I am very CSS literate but I've not done much PHP or CMS stuff. Any suggestions on 'where to kick' would be helpful. I'll be glad to share the template once it's up and running.
