Manage more sites

Post by Lolletje »

Hi there  :D,
Is it possible with CMSMS to manage with 1 installation 2 sites?
I want this: www.mysite.eu is the main-site, here is CMSMS installed.
Then I have www.mysite.eu/costumers , the part for costumers.
Is it possible to manage the pages in /costumers with the CMSMS-installation installed in /  ?

Thx & Grtz,
Lolletje ;)

At this point it is not possible it has been brought up numerous times before...

One way to do it would be to make it look like 2 installs in one, make the first site as needed then go to Content > Pages Add Content and make a section header not shown in the menu the put pages under it and in a template add the {menu} tag for this section, read the Menu Manager Help for full steps...

Lolletje,

If you mean to have both public pages and customer-pages within a single install, with some kind of login or whatever, and even different templates.... that is possible. What do you want exactly. As Mark described, you can use the {menu} to show/Not show different items on given pages.

If you want some "Member area" that is possible, with the use of FEU (FrontEnd Users) and CC (Custom Content).

Could you explain a little more what you try to achieve.....

One install per folder...

Root is one folder, /customers/ is another folder...
