Table doesn't show in page edit mode

I've created a CSS table and associated it with a template but when I try to edit the page the table doesn't show; the only way to get it to show is to paste it into the html.

How did you "created a CSS table"?...

If you want to use tables in the editor you need to go to extensions > tinymce and tick the box to allow tables...
