user login

Hi,

Login as admin is (obviously) not a problem, but where do users login? I don't want users to see the full menu (User management, group management etc.), so I unchecked the "Access to login to admin" box.

If I try to login with the user account I get a "Username or password incorrect" error. When I go back (as admin) and check the "Access to login to admin" box, the user can login but with the options I don't want my user to see.

How can I login as a user without the full menu?

There are no "normal users" in CMSms! Anyone can see the pages whithout a login.

Still, why the "Access to login to admin" box? Why would I create a user who does not have the right to login?

Maybe if I wait long enough I can answer this question myself

Exactly...

We were going to do frontend users, which is why that checkbox is there, but we ended up leaving it for a later date. I was going to hide it, since it doesn't really do anything but of course forgot.

On the website I am using CMS Made Simple with, users will be logging in and changing content on their specific pages. I keep the admin link on the main menu and then set very limited permissions for the users.
