CSS to mark links and document filetype in page

Post by OlafNoehring »

Hi

in the last week I have downloaded two CSS / html files:
As I wrote in another thread ( http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.ph ... 783.0.html ) this method is not ready to use with the current handling of internal links all the way (internal links that are automatically created in the 1.2.2 version have a prefix of http:// instead of being relative) but in general the approach should work.

What it does:
Attach icons next to links: Like in wikipedia, show what type the link is off: PDF, movie, sound, external. All links can have different icons automaticalls attached to them by CSS (not in IE 6 ;-) ). Icons can be adjusted to your needs as they are simple graphics.
Very easy to use, very nice.

The files / ideas are directly from
http://pooliestudios.com/projects/iconize/
and
http://www.askthecssguy.com/2006/12/sho ... _cs_1.html

Rename the files after download (zip is not an allowed attachment here):
From hyperlinkcueexamples.zip.txt to hyperlinkcueexamples.zip
From iconize-04.zip.txt to iconize-04.zip

I have downloaded the attached files, renamed them as written above, but i can't get them extracted - the archive is corrupt. I am using WinRar.
If somedody could upload the again (or email to liudass84@gmail.com) would really use them.

Thanks.

You can download the file here

http://pooliestudios.com/projects/iconi ... ize-05.zip

The second file contains only a collection of examples from posted website.
