ie7 admin login problem when using sublevel domains with underscore

It seems ie7 users are not able to login to the admin area when using a underscore in a subleveldomain name.

It took me a while to discover that:

demo_site.mysite.com/admin : does work in ff and ie 6.0 but not in ie 7.0

demosite.mysite.com/admin : does also work for ie 7.0

hope this is helpfull for other users.

Hello,

underscores "_" are not allowed by the DNS spec. The dash "-" is allowed.
An underscore in a host/domain name is not valid Internet.
