Problems with sending newsletters using NMS 1.0.1

Hello

I am trying to send a newsletter using NMS 1.0.1. Evrything seems to be going okay and then it just hangs on the message:

Keep this window open till all messages have been sent.

Sending the next batch of 50 emails; starting at: 0

Processing Job: Job created at: 12/05/07 04:26:51

Processing records 0 to 25

Nothing else moves.

I have checked the settings for CMS mailer and everything, in all three options, works fine.

I have tried upgrading to NMS 1.0.2 but the upload feature does not recognise the XML file, keeps asking me to confirm it isn't a zip file, which it isn't.

Can anyone offer any advice as to what I am missing - why wont the newsletters go out?

download 1.0.2 from here: http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/frs/?group_id=10
unzip > upload to server > log into admin > modules > install nms

Thanks rtkd - the only download versions available are XML and .gz - need to figure out how to unpack the ,gz, which I will do in a moment. But ..... Any ideas why I might be unable to send using 1.0.1?

Have you tried to import the xml file from Extensions > Modules?

And there are a lot programs to extract tar.gz files (Winzip, Powerarchiver) ...
