Weird Looking Admin Panel

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Weird Looking Admin Panel

Post by ewb »

Hi I am running CMS 1.2 on Apache/1.3.29 PHP/5.2.1 with MySQL/4.0.27. I have now installed cms and it seems to be running fine except for 1 little detail: the admin panel. The admin panel looks nothing like like the one displayed on the website, ie: no colors, no tables, everything seems to be over simplified on a white background. I am also missing the content and other multiple options that the panel should have. Instead, here is what i have accessed to :
    * Main
    * My Preferences
          o My Account
          o User Preferences
          o Manage Shortcuts
    * View Site
    * Logout
This is all that is in the panel at this time. Also when I click on view website well it displays a page that says:
Not Found The requested URL was not found on this server. Again I am at the step when you just complete the installation and log into the panel for the first time. Maybe it is just a matter of installing an "admin panel component" or something like that. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

Hello,

strange.
Try to reinstall from scratch a full new CMSms 1.2.2.
If it isn't OK, tell us usual things : hosting context, OS, admin browser, link downloaded, link to the read documentation, install procedure chosen and followed, actions and results during the steps, seen warnings, error messages and http logS.
