I am setting up a CMSMS web portal for a client who currently is in the process of getting a host. So for the moment, the installation is on my server and my databases. I am not only designing it but also adding plenty of content.
How would I move everything properly to the new host once it's ready to go?
And also, what if I wanted to move the CMS from "/cms" to "/" on my own server, is that straightforward and simple to do?
Moving CMSMS to a new host...

deportu,
At least you could take a look at the following:
http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/topic,15645.msg84342.html
It describes the steps to take when moving from one server to another.

Hello deportu,
please read the documentation and search the forum before posting :
-the doc explains how to copy to a new server. (the forum explains it too several times)
-the forum explains several times "moving to root".
