Show only newest album

Hello,

Is there a way for Album 0.9.2 to display only the newest album? I want to build a site that gets a new photo album for each new event. Then on a news like page should show only the newest album that has been created.

So I don't want to add the albums="xxx" tag, because that calls a static album. It should get the album with the highest ID or so.

sortdesc="true" and number="10" params

Hello Alby,

The sortdesc I had seen, but the number only applies to images. So you can show only the ten newest images or so. It doesn't work in combination with a list of albums unfortunately.

I had tried the numbers thing already, but the description of it also states that it applies to images:

(optional) number="10"
Show a certain number of recently updated pictures

There isn't that kind of a tag that applies to a list of albums however...

Apparently there seems no direct solution to this. So I submitted it to the album Feature requests.

That project has been quiet for a while though, is it still being developed?
