How to easily update a big catalog

Could it be possible to update the cataloger module to be able to update things like prices in an easier manner than always going in each different page ?  for the moment I go into my sql table with phpmyadmin, but that's not the best way to go ...

Something like a table with all items, categories and so on would be perfect !
