Hi!
I installed Fedora (Linux) TODAY on my system *smile* but now i am looking for a good HTML Editor (Eclipse is good for PHP but not good for (X)HTML. What editor are you using which can:
- autocomplete attribute in HTML tags
- closing tags automatically
- ...
something like this:

What editor is Ted using for this project?
I heared that VIM is very good but i have not yet used it.

Re: (X)HTML Editor for Linux
Hmm, I've tested this editor under wine, not thoroughly, but it seems it runs well... I took advice and installed IEs4Linux prior that. So you might stick with it for a while until you find a better one. Well, not so well. But, I use PSPad for Windows, which runs under wine as well... not that there weren't good editors for linux, just an old habit doesn't go away easily...
I heard Quanta is pretty good, or Bluefish, but I just haven't figured the autocompleting so far... jEdit, a multiplatform editor based on Java, might appeal to you as well, and this one might have autocompleting...
VIM - be sure to check the docs how to turn this editor off - HINT: in text console, you can stop the programs with ctrl+c
.
But I'm not sure about site previewing in VIM :-/.

Re: (X)HTML Editor for Linux
I've been developing sites on Linux for a few years now - I love Bluefish, but could never get the preview to work, so I switched to Quanta Plus. I hear nvu is good too.
Now that you're on Linux, you'll need to get Inkscape and GIMP too!
Happy coding!

You can also use html-kit by chami. I have it installed on ubuntu through wine. it seems to work ok. I have used it for years on windows and the layout seems the same in ubuntu.
Re: (X)HTML Editor for Linux
Since I've posted last, I've discovered Geany - Loooooove it. (No preview, but I'm over it.)
