Articles Module Content Not Searchable?

Post by johnbmcdonald »

I am not sure if maybe its something I did or did not do, but using the site "Search" function will not return any articles in search results. Anybody have any ideas on this?

CMS Made Simple version 1.2
Articles version 0.0.3.6

Thanks in advance.

Ohhhh, yeah it's true, the contents are not searchable when using Articles module. Maybe Articles module is not using database? or maybe it uses xml or text data.

I'm about to use this Articles module but hmnnn with the search functionality missing, i think im gonna do natural cmsmadesimple pages.

Hope anybody can give some inputs.

Hmm, have you make a look at search modules help?

It's IMHO possible to pass some parameters ...

The other way could be to try PiSearch.

Hi folks,

I didn't implement yet the connection between Articles and the Search module. It'll be done in a next release.

Sorry

Any update on this?

Personally, I would love to see a Articles based search that only searched Articles.....

With current Search module you can limit the search results for modules (parameter modules). Please make a look to modules help.
