udt problem with cmsms version 1.2.1

Post by moorezilla »

I just upgraded with the diff version of 1.2 to 1.2.1 and when I clear the cache I get the following error:

string(117) "Smarty error: [in template:18 line 140]: syntax error: unrecognized tag 'vocab' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 590)" string(117) "Smarty error: [in template:18 line 145]: syntax error: unrecognized tag 'green' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 590)"

If I go to another page after this, the error goes away, but my two udt's "vocab" and "green" do not work. They are supposed to grab random lines of text out of text files and print them, but they don't work now after upgrading.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
am

Update: I tried uploading all of 1.2.1 instead of the diff files and the same error occurs. I think that udt's may be hosed in this release.

I have just upgraded to 1.2.1 and experienced exactly the same problem. The first time I attempt to load a page with UDTs, I get the "unrecognized tag" error message displayed on the page. Reload the page and the error message is not written out, but the UDTs don't do anything.
Tried adding the default UDTs supplied with the release to a page (custom_copyright and test_tag) and the same problem occurs.
Any suggestions, please?

update:
Just read this: http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.ph ... 292.0.html
but it doesn't seem to have fixed my UDT problem!

Just an update to say that I solved the problem by patching and clearing the cache:
