Parameter limit is not known in News-module [solved]

Just to be clear, because I did not find the exact answer here in the forum, although many entries did help : I upgraded 1.0.6 to 1.2 and got the error "Parameter limit is not known" in the News-module. This is how I solved it :

In the template I used, I changed the string "news limit" in "news number" in this section :

   
     
        News
          {news number=3 detailpage='news'}
