Poll / Voting module

I am just starting out with CMSMS and am really needing a poll/voting module.  One that can archive past polls, too.

Can anyone point me to a working plug-in/module?  Or suggest how I could incorporate one into this fine CMS?

I'm certain you could do something like this if you have some knowledge of PHP and a bit of time on your hands. Go download the skeleton module from cmsmodules.org, it gives you a pretty good idea of where to start.

I want a poll/voting module too, though I need one that has the ability to twist it.

I want the ability for users to add items to the poll, and then cast or recant their vote.
Also, would like the ability for users to be able to add a comment to an item in a poll to have like an open decision making process where users can discuss an item and the cast votes, and the items with the most votes bubble up and are displayed on the top of the list.

I'll be starting on this today, I think I'll call it the "decision maker" module or something.

Will you make it configurable in such a way that some of those extra features could be disabled?  I.e., allow for less-complex polls?

I'm writing my DecisionMaker module such that it can be dummed down to act just like a polls module, yep.
