FCKeditorX errors

Post by nsquared »

Hi Guys,

I have a small problem with FCKeditorX when trying to modify pages.

Currently running Apache 1.3.37 on Linux, with PHP 5.16 & MySQL 5.0.24, CMSMS & FCKeditor 1.0.2.

The error i get is similar to this one:
http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.ph ... 763.0.html

but mine is

error loading "http://www.domain.com/modules/FCKeditor ... .php?id=17"
or
error loading "http://www.domain.com/modules/FCKeditor ... .php?id=20"

I can still use the editor adequately in IE but not in Firefox, Opera or Safari. Additionally images do not show in the WYSIWYG window properly.

I've installed CMS MS on many other sites, but this is the first I've seen of this error. Tried replacing the FCKeditorX with every other WYSIWYG editor on CMS Forge, but to no avail - they all have an error of one sort or another.

Typing this error into each browser yields no clues either as this is the error I get:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
the files are all there and properly chmod-ed. ;D

It's driving me absolutely nuts. Would appreciate any help on this matter.
Cheers. :)

Please try FCkeditor 1.0.3 and let me know if this fixes or does not fix your problem: http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/frs/?group ... ase_id=714

Thanks.

Sorry, I don't know what's going wrong.  :-\
CMSMS 2.0 (should be out in the summer) will likely have a different WYSIWYG editor (Dojo) that has an image browser that is just PHP and HTML (not Javascript based) which should make it more reliable.

Sorry I can't offer a solution,

Elijah
