help with SEO, can't find my site on Google.

I hope somebody can point me in the right direction. I am fairly new to cmsms and have nearly completed my site, however with I search on Google it isn't there at all.  Have I missed something?.  I kind of remember a page that I filled in what my site discription would look like on Google and also choosing some key words, but I can't find this page now.  If somebody knows this page or has any advice please could you let me know. Thanks.

I can tell you from years of experience as a hosting provider encountering Google in every conceivable
fashion, that it will take Google some time to begin displaying your content from it's (Google's) data mine.
So, in a word - patience is key. Give Google some time to begin delivering. :) Also, while using Google site
map helps deliver your information more effectively, it does not ensure faster initiation of data display
from your newly created content.

Best wishes.

not sure what you're looking for... in cmsms there's site admin -> global settings where you can insert meta keywords and description for the site; there's also configurable metadata for each page (options tab) too, but don't put "keywords" or "description" in both individual pages AND global.

google has a section for webmasters, where you can add sites you own or manage; check google statistics, etc. and specify your google-compatible sitemap (there's a couple of addons for cmsms that generate them).. see https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/
eternity (n); 1. infinite time, 2. a seemingly long or endless time, 3. the length of time it takes a frozen pizza to cook when you're starving.
4,930,000,000 (n); 1. a very large number, 2. the approximate world population in 1986 when Microsoft Corp issued its IPO. 3. Microsoft's net profit (USD) for the quarter (3 months) ending 31 March 2007.

And watch your logs for bots visits. And query Google with +site:www.foobar.com
