Image instead of button in search module

Hi CMSMS folks,

I know there was allready discussed how to change search button in search module
with an image...the thing is none of them is complete tutorial and then I get stuck in the middle of it..
So if someone knows how to do it from start till done, please share it with me..

You can either use Javascript see http://www.applejack.co.uk or you can use CSS though the CSS way as far as I know is not fully cross browser compatible i.e. Safari.
