Maybe we can do a Upgrade button somewhere in admin area, that checks is there a newer version of CMS MS, and if it is - make a backup of a site, downloads an upgraded files, depending on version, that is already installed on the site, and installs them? And there would be a independent php file, which can restore site from backup if CMS goes down for any reason? That would be a great ad-on for CMS, because nobody likes to check every few days for newer version and manually upgrade the CMS.

The problem is most files of CMSms install needs a write permission to do an upgrade. It's a high security risk.

But there's currently the idea to show a rss feed inside admin panel to show admin which is the current version.
