Our latest CMSMS site

Post by kermit »

Figured it was about time I posted a site we've done.. this one for a local group:

tinyurl.com/2ub2df

Still have to fetch some additional pictures, an audio clip or two, and have a couple of as-of-yet unwritten pages to add.. but that's all minor stuff (waiting on them for the material).. the site is basically done.

Will post a few more later; right now trying to fit in time for a new project or four.

(above not hot-linked, and using tinyurl because the link goes to a dev server and don't want crawlers getting wrong url from here)
eternity (n); 1. infinite time, 2. a seemingly long or endless time, 3. the length of time it takes a frozen pizza to cook when you're starving.
4,930,000,000 (n); 1. a very large number, 2. the approximate world population in 1986 when Microsoft Corp issued its IPO. 3. Microsoft's net profit (USD) for the quarter (3 months) ending 31 March 2007.

Nice job so far.... I think the navigation is kind of in a strange place, and I didn't really think to look there first to get to other pages. You might want to work some color into the logo also, the brown on red is kind of hard to read. You should also make the header link back to the home page, that's a pretty standard thing.

It looks nice for the most part, the only thing I'd advice is to change the color of the words "Rhythm of the River" because there's no contrast with the background, as it is the exact same color It makes your title look plain.

Nice site.

Do you love to track/kern letters too tight?

To me, it's hard to read.
