uploading selected (new php version) pages inplace of existing html pages

Post by Tracy »

Hope I ask this so that you understand. 2 questions.
If I have 20 HTML pages that are linked from my navigation menu but I only want to change 5 of them to php for the clients editing purpose with CMSms and leave the rest as is, can I do this? So far I have only been able to see my index.php after I delete the index.html. I tried the same thing with another page thinking all I had to do was build this page with CMS and then delete the html version but it is not showing up. I feel like I am not getting anywhere with the uploading of the php pages.

Build your cmsms site with the pages you need, for them to edit, then in the menu make the links to .html pages...

Make links...

Content > Pages > Add New Content in the Content Type: Link then fill in URL path...

Once you have this you can render a page view the source and copy the menu ul li and paste it into the .html pages...
