[solved] Website to new server/domain

Post by Evert »

I have put the website on a new server and with a new domain. I have followed all the steps in the manual for putting the site on a new server (http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php ... New_Server). The admin panel for CMS made simple does work completly, but the website itself doesn't look the way as it should be.

The website is located at http://www.miracle-sieraden.nl and it should look the same as on http://miracle.x10hosting.com.

What have I done wrong?

Evert,

I cant tell what you did wrong so far, you might want to install mySQLdump on the old environment and dump the DB-content there. Then install mySQLdump on the new machine and restore the dump DB-content there.

Evert,

nice to see that it works. One small remark, did you put the height of the wrapper fixed on purpose, as now (at least in IE6) there is a scrollbar, to see all content. Without a fixed height, the length would automatically be set to show all without a scrollbar.
