Error on news module

I am using Version 1.2 - does anyone know what the error msg across the news module relates tp on the following page relates to and how to fix it?

I though I would put the content up before implementing the design just in case things went wrong with the design, so everything is left just as a virgin install.

Are you using the limit-parameter in the calling of NEWS. There seems to be a parameter used (limit) that isnt supported.

Within the news Module v 2.5.1 there is a drop down box called limit with various options.  The error msg persists whatever setting it is on.
