I have the same problem on several sites. It came after upgrade to 1.1, through all later versions and I encounter the problem in 1.2 also. Creating a new block works, but editing is impossible.

What do you have for the checkbox "Enable GCB WYSIWYG" in User-Preferences.
Starting with 1.1 the new default editor is TinyMCE.

Try unchecking the checkbox, to see if it works without a WYSIWYG.

I have the problem only with 1.1.4.1. I reinstalled 1.1.4.1 and had the same problem. Downgraded to 1.1.3.1 and the problem was gone. I use FCKEditor as editor. Didn't see the problem in 1.2 (not yet).

OK, I did that and still the same. If hitting submit - blank page appears, if hitting apply it acts like applying but no changes are saved.

As a matter of fact, I don't like TinyMCE. It doesn't work well in Firefox, and have some problem with the coding.

is there anything in your httpd error log when you click submit on a GCB?

I'm having a very similar problem, changes to global content blocks are not saving, whether with the WYSIWYG enabled or not.

Additionally, upon clicking "submit," I get the following error.
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/abolish/public_html/cmsms/modules/Archiver/Archiver.module.php on line 309
Is there something I'm supposed to be doing with the Archiver module to prevent this error?
