Multiple sites managed from one installation, possible?

Post by Coume »

Hello,

I have been using Typo3 for several websites but some persons find it too difficult to administrate so I am thinking of using CMS Made Simple as it is very easy to use even for novice...
I am 99% sold but there is one thing that I am not sure to be able to do with your great CMS.

Is it possible to manage several domains from one installation? Let me take my Typo3 example:

I have domain1.com (my main domain), which has Typo3 installed.
Then I have domain2.com, domain3.com, domainX.com that are set as domain pointers.
But when going on domain2.com, you see the website with the content2 (different from domain1.com),
when going on domain3.com, you see the website with the content3 (different from domain1.com),
etc.
(Ok, if I was not clear, you can have quick look at the typo tutorial http://typo3.org/documentation/document ... /view/1/9/ )

Each contents are controlled from the same typo3 installation making it less ressource intensive, more easily upgradable (one install vs X install), etc.

Is it possible to do such thing with CMS made easy?

Thanks in advance.
