Group Permissions Help??

Post by duplay »

I am the admin of my site (the only member of the admin group) and have created a group called teachers (for my users). I want them to be able to create new, edit already created pages they are owners of, and arrange new pages in the menu.

If I check the "Modify Page Structure" for my teacher group, they can now arrange the newly crated page under a parent, but they have access to edit and delete all of my admin pages they arent owners of.

I want teachers to: create, edit, and arrange new pages under a parent created by them and only have access to pages they are owners of.

How can this be done? Thanks

This is easily attainable. You'll want to edit 'Group Permissions' for the group you want affected. Simply uncheck the 'Modify Any Page' permission and when someone from that group logs in, they are only presented with the pages that they are the owners of.  :)

Good luck!
