Step 4: Connection failed

Post by Mikkael »

Apache/1.3.33 (Debian GNU/Linux)
MySQL:  4.0.24

I'm certain that MySQL DB is setup properly; however when I enter user name, database, password etc. I get this step 4 error that Connection failed. I don't understand why.

Is this possible to fix? Can we get a manual config.php file somewhere?

Thanks in advance!!

Of course I fixed it 3 min after posting this message.

I forgot to flush privileges in mysql. I don't know why this would not make db work, but it certanly fixed my problem.
