Top banner and global content blocks query

Hey Guys,

Just a quick question regarding the setup of the top banner and the global content blocks. I hope this isn't a basic question that has been covered before in the forums but I did search before posting and found no definite answer.

I am building my site to incorporate a flash header banner at the top of the page and a bottom global content block that may have some animated gifs. The top banner and bottom bar will both have a certain amount of animation it that will refesh itself every 30 seconds or so.

Is it possible to set CMSMS not to refresh these sections of the template every time I click on a different section on my site? I don't want the animation starting from scratch each time in the top and bottom sections. I need the animations to continue in their own loops regardless of what section I click into.

Is this possible in CMSMS? Any pointers appreciated.

Sounds to me like you'd need to use frames, unless someone can say otherwise.
