Problem when submitting comments in News Module

Hey all, I'm having a problem on a site I am building with CMSMS.

When I "Submit" a comment on a news page the followning error message comes up...

string(43) "Smarty error: eval: missing 'var' parameter"

When I go back to view the news page, the comment has gone into the system even though the error message was displayed.  Why am I getting this error message after submitting ?  Anyone know how to fix this ?
