Formbuilder - Mail to Owner AND user

Post by croontje »

I made a form with formbuilder where users can enter a course. Everything works fine but i would like to send an email to the site owner AND the user that's subscibing. The mail to the owner is ok, it is sent to "*Email Results to set Address(es)". But i don't know how to send a mail to the user. I can't fill in a variable in this field: "*Email Results to set Address(es)".

There's a disposition type called "Email to User-Supplied Email Address" that you could use. Label it "Your email address", and it will send them a copy as well.

You can have as many dispositions as you want in a form.

Good luck,

I tried that already but I can't make that one required:

*Email Results to set Address(es)
-Static Text (CSS)
-Fieldset Start
Email "From Name" Field REQUIRED
Text Input (adress) REQUIRED
Text Input (telephone number) REQUIRED
Email "From Address" Field  REQUIRED
*Email to User-Supplied Email Address <-------------  ?
-Fieldset End

Croontje,

if you put that field on your Form and you've selected "*Email to User-Supplied Email Address", there is a field "Require a response for this Field". Did you check that box, to make it a required field?

Croontje,

if you click the "Uw email"-field you'll see the settings of that field. There is the checkbox "Require a response for this Field".

Is this working OK for you now?

It's not for me. :-\ (FormBuilder 0.4.3/CMSMS 1.1)

The form I'm working on uses the Email to User-Supplied Email Address field, set as required, to send a confirmation email to the submitter.

All works OK as long as the field is populated, but if left empty it does not show up in the page top error list.

If the form is submitted with the field empty then the Form Submitted page reads "Sorry! There was an error handling your form submission."

Any ideas?
