NON-CMSMS: No text in FCKeditor

Hi all,

a client just called and told me that he would be unable to change pages, because nothing shows up un the FCKeditor text area. The FCKeditor menu bar shows up fine, but the HTML textarea is empty ...

We already tried
- disabling firewall
- switching from IE to Firefox
to no avail.

Since the problem exists only on *his* PC, I think this maybe a Windows XP problem. I am quite at a loss, I have never seen anything like that.

Any suggestions?

does it work from other machines, or is it just that machine?
If also on other machines it might be the permissions on the module-folder for FCKeditor.

Using his account on other machines doesn't show any problems.

It is clearly not a CMSMS problem, and I apologize for asking for help, but I have never come across a problem like this ...

It *seems* to be not related to Javascript, since the FCK toolbar comes up nicely. But no text in the edit area.
