[partially solved] Images not showing correctly when surfing the site

Post by Michael AC »

Hi all,

little big problem:

When entering the site www.domain.de all images are shown correctly [1]. When moving around and returning to the starting page by clicking the "home" link [2], the images have vanished.

image links:
[1] www.domain.de/uploads/images/image.png (correct)

[2] www.domain.de/index.php/uploads/images/image.png (definitely wrong!)

I've solved the puzzle by deleting the [showbase='false'] option within the templates {metadata} tag.

But:

It worked properly for a long time, and without changing anything (neither template, nor permissions nor anything else) "suddenly" this problem appeared. Only thing I've done is, opening the "home" page with the CMSms back-end, changing nothing and saving it again...

So there must be something weird about it... and just deleting the metadata option can't be a proper solution.

Ideas, anyone? Different PHP on the server? Or some PHP opts disabled? Anything like this?

Hi all,

as time goes by to rethink the past:

I've changed from FCK to TinyMCE some weeks ago (and didn't modify my pages since). Pages were created with FCK. Now I've opened the page with TinyMCE and maybe the image path becomes kind of &$%§/&# within TinyMCE.

Where are the FCK and TinyMCE specialists?  ;)
