ImageManager Bug

I have uploaded some pictures and am trying to resize them in the ImageManager. I clicked the edit button next the image in ImageManager and a window pops up. I select the resize button and enter in new dimensions for the image. After hitting the check mark, I get the following error.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagecreate() in /home/grace/public_html/lib/filemanager/ImageManager/Classes/GD.php on line 353

Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem? I would like people that are editing a site who don't have a graphics program like Photoshop to be able to shrink digital photos that they upload to save on load times.

check that you have the gd library installed
