How do I create a new subcategory/alias?

If I have a certain amount of categories in a site that is based on CMS made simple and would like to add a new subcategory under one category.. what am I to do?

I have tried the following:

1) choose Add new content
2) then in the blanko page that appears on the screen there is no place for alias.

How would I be able to find alias for a new subcategory?

I think the alias is needed since if I try to fill in the blanko page with new info it really looks
weird in the preview-mood.

I am not sure if this is what you are asking, but when you add a new page, you can specify the page alias by clicking the "options" tab at the top.
