CMSMS community website for Comrie, Scotland

www.comrie.org.uk - Comrie Community Website

This launched on the 13th August, at about 6-30pm 

It was built using CMSMS 1.1 Samoa. It makes large use of the news, album, and calendar modules. PHPBB was installed at www.comrie.org.uk/forum providing a community message board.

Currently there are several editors but this is set to be expanded to some 30+  members of the village community. The site was donated free of charge and is sustained by Google AdSense.

The only complaint we've had is the TinyMCE's handling of tables! So far the community are very pleased with the new site.

It does, of course, include a link back to CMSMS in the footer of every page.

Nice informative site, does what it says on the tin.

Just one minor pedantic ickle thing: spelling of accommodation is missing two m's in places.

Am interested in how sustainable the site is via Adwords, was thinking of doing a similar site for my community, I'd appreciate an email...

I have a client with an information site who needs several Google Adsense ads per page but I've been unable to get it work using the suggested methods on the forum.

Can you please share with us how you got the adsense to work?

You seem to have some kind of a bug on the PhpBB... Its all a blur here. I am using FF 2.0.0.7 on a Mac PB(PPC), if thats helping anything.

They use the calendar module, the forum showed no CSS styles... XP w/ Firefox 2.0.0.7...
