Sites moved to new server and "anchors" and ^Top buttons stopped working.

Greetings-

I recently moved to CMS sites from a MAC server to a PC server using IIS. I copied the site folders over and updated the path's in the config.php files to represent the new server. Everything works fine, but today I notice the "Anchor" option that can be placed on a page, and the ^Top link at the bottom of each page takes a visitor to the sites home page. This was not the case on the old server.


Here is a example anchor page I set up to go to anchors placed at the bottom of the page:

The ^Top link can be tested off any page. Thanks

I'm assuming the page with A B C D is new but just to make sure:
if you add a new anchors AFTER the move.. they are broken AS WELL as the ones you had before the move?\

Ditto for the ^top?

and you didn't mention 'how' you created the links, was it using {cms_selflink}, or in the wysiwyg editor (which I 'm not familiar with)......  or which version of CMS made simple..... More information please. 

The 'It doesn't work and I don't know why' questions, won't usually get answered until you start providing some detailed information.  If they do get answered without it, go buy a lottery ticket.

I'm guessing you have a clear definition of the problem, but in order for us to help you (especially thru a medium as hard to communicate thru as text) you have to give a clear definition of the probelm...

I had once similar promlem and you could check if changing {metadata} tag in your template header to {metadata showbase="false"} could fix this. For me it did.

Details, Details! here you go:

I am using version 1.0.2 Maui
I went from a Mac Server to a Windows Server - Anchors and top links worked before the move and work on the PC server if I create a new site on the server (site that hasnt been moved)
I created the new pages using the "New Content Page" button and the Microsoft-Word like editor that appears on the page above the content. I use the Orange Anchor button to insert in page.
Old Top links and anchors stopped working as well as new ones I have created (example above Anchors ABCD)

This worked, for me.  I was having trouble with anchor links on the same page directing me to the default page instead of the anchor on the current page.  Adding this little bit of code to the template fixed it right up.  Not quite sure what it does but it worked for me.

To my understanding it removes the from the head.
