Hi. I've recently been hired in to a school whose website was created using CMS Made Simple Version 0.12.1
The person who created the website was a volunteer, and has since moved on and is unreachable.
We are trying to update our website, as it hasn't been updated in more than a year, but can't locate the login info. needed to update the site.
Any suggestions?

Re: lost login info. for website development
Perry,
Cyberman pointed you to a logic to reset the admin-userpassword through the mySQLadmin. If you check the config.php of that site, you'll find the DB-name/user/pw, to access the DB within mySQLadmin.
When you use the logic provided, you're able to reset the admin-password. With the reset password you'll be able to login to the backend again.

I think I need more detailed help. I don't know how to access the config.php of the site.
Re: lost login info. for website development
Perry,
if you're able to connect using the FTP (if it is a remote installation), the config.php is stored in the root of the CMSMS-installation.
If not, can you explain what you know of the environment!

Re: lost login info. for website development
This is not to be put into the confi.php, you look at the config to find the name and user and password of the DB so you can login to the DB backend interface and run the mySQL query...
Some where in the DB interface there should be some kind of a link/button to run queries that will give you an edit box to paste the query string into then hit run or execute...
Now your CMSMS first admin/user name will have a password of admin which you should change after getting back into the sites backend...
