[SOLVED] Site down message after upgrade to 1.1.2

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[SOLVED] Site down message after upgrade to 1.1.2

Post by RonnyK »

I upgraded my CMS 1.1.1 installation to 1.1.2.

The admin-backend now shows a error:
Warning: Your site is currently showing a "Site Down for Maintenence" message. Remove the /storage/*****/public/sites/demo.krijt.eu/tmp/cache/SITEDOWN file to resolve this.
I've seen the "site down message" before, coming from the checkbox in the global settings. Why is manually deletion necessary?

It's not an error, it's only a warning :).

Maybe it cant be deleted automatically be upgrade procedure (permission?).

You're right, it is a warning. But i havent seen this before, as the diff is only a FILE-transfer, so no real upgrade. There is no install/upgrade.php needed.

I'm not behind my FTP-PC, so I can't delete the file, or is there another way? Can it be deleted through the backend?

Not sure. Have you tried to activate AND deactivate it via Site Admin > Global settings?

I tried that too, but my site unfortunately still shows "Site down for maintenance."  :-[

Go to \tmp\cache and remove the file SITEDOWN through FTP.
