Friendly URLs for News Category "browsecat"

Hi,

My news shows SEF URLs for the actual article links. But, when providing a list of news 'categories' I get URLs like, /index.php?mact=News,cntnt01,default,0&cntnt01category=Website%20Tips&cntnt01browsecat=-1&cntnt01returnid=68

The category links use the News tag {news browsecat="1"}

Is there something I can do to force the category links to display a SEF URL?

is there not an enable fancy urls setting in the config file?

This can be acomplished by creating a page for each category and then limiting only the entries for that category to appear on that page.
